Message hmm. okay.

well.
I have a 94tt with super hicas
my driver side rear wheel has some play when i hold it on 3 and 9 o clock. definitely can feel some wiggling space when i move it back and forth.
The hicas ball joint rubber seems to be busted, and when I had it jacked up pretty high I could see that when I rocked it, the wheel hub attachment and the tie rod weren't moving in unison. This means the hicas rear ball joint is bad right? or is this play because the wheel bearing is bad.

The passenger side of my car has a "woosh woosh woosh" sound as the wheel turns when I drive. I can hear it when i'm driving past a wall or something that reflects the sound.
I understand this can be from one of two things. the suspension, or brake system.
The suspension, I understand could be wheel bearing.
But what on the brake system specifically should I be looking at to make sure its not a brake problem. the pads? rotors? which part of the rotors? etc. etc.

Thanks for the help.
